Discounted price can be entered as a fixed amount, or entered as a percentage. If a fixed price is entered, the percentage will be calculated and displayed in admin. If a percentage is entered, the Special price will be calulated and displayed in admin. The special price is what will be displayed and stored in the database and used for all pricing calculations. The regular unit price can also be updated from the dated specials entry tab or in the data tab in admin.
